Troubleshooting Login Issues
Troubleshooting login issues
If you experience any issues logging in, try taking the following steps:
Double-check your password.
- Make sure it's the correct password and that you have entered it correctly (no CAPSLOCK, for example).
Double-check your email address.
- Users sometimes go on autopilot and enter their college email or a yahoo mail account they had when they were 11-years-old. You can only log in if you enter the email that is linked to your myPREPcourse account. And as with your password, double-check your email for typos.
Double-check your custom URL.
Updated security protocols have limited users' ability to log in through multiple URLs. As a result, users can now access the software only through the custom portal assigned to their specific location. If you're not 100% sure that you've gone to the correct URL (your custom portal), try the following:
- Check your initial welcome email to confirm the URL.
- Ask a responsible-looking person at your organization. Start with a manager or the person at your location who consistently remembers to water the office plants. That person will know. They should, anyway.
- Short on time? No sign of that email? Surrounded by dying office plants? You can probably guess the URL in two tries. First, try:
[your company domain] + dot + [myprepcourse.com].
Ex: whitecastle.myprepcourse.com
Perhaps your location is part of an organization with multiple locations – all of which are full of dying office plants? First, schedule a meeting about the office plant situation. Then try:
[your location] + dot + [company domain] + dot + [myprepcourse.com]
Ex: scottsdale.whitecastle.myprepcourse.com
